Super Sonico is my favorite character!

Hello everyone! Today I'll be talking about Super Sonico and why she's my favorite character.

The reason I love her the most is because we are so similar!!!

- She's a university student (so am I) who studies marine biology (studying that is my dream!)

- She loves marine life, just like me :)

- She also works as a gravure model (while I am cosplay model!)

- She's really curvy and our body type is almost identical, see! Just like me, she has bigger, curvy hips and legs. Her chest too, is big but not as big as her hips (like me!!!) but her waist is small like mine. Why is this so significant? Because I've honestly always felt so alone with my figure type, with nobody who shares the same proportions. Just getting called fat when I'm not even fat - until I met Sonico-chan. While I was being made fun of (and I'm still being made fun of for my proportions sometimes) it meant the world to me to know that my body proportions are being CELEBRATED in this anime. It gives me so much confidence to cosplay too!

- She loves animals and has 5 cats. I love animals and I have 5 pets too! 3 dogs, 1 hedgehog and 1 hamster.

- She studies while working, which is exactly what I do. We both work so hard to support ourselves!

-Sonico also helps out at her grandma's shop. When I was that age, I helped out at my mother's school as a teacher's assistant during my school holidays.

- She writes lyrics when she's free... I write poems! And I draw.

What's the most coolest thing about her is that she's also in a rock band with her two friends, Suzu and Fuuri. She's on the vocals and guitar for their band, First Astronomical Velocity. According to Suzu, First Astronomical Velocity refers to the speed that a rocket reaches when it first breaks from our atmosphere into outer space. A reporter asked her one day "If your band wasn't popular, and people said your songs are bad, would you quit the band?". Sonico said "No, I wouldn't. Because I like it. I like rock. I like doing this with my friends." I find that so inspiring. Sonico taught me to do something because it makes you happy, and it should never be about what other people say. And I always try to remember that. :)

Sonico is doing so many things all at once, and yet she never stops. She's so hardworking and just keeps going, and never stops being genuine all the way. She still can look after her 5 cats on top of all her work. I can relate so much with her lifestyle and the decisions she makes that has led to this lifestyle. I really resonate with her so much!!! <3

I don't know who would bother reading a blog post like this... ^^;; but I will remember what Sonico taught me and write anyway. I like to write.

In another blog post, I will discuss my favourite scenes from different episodes in Super Sonico! The animation. Also in another post, I'll share some of my favourite songs from her. You know, I feel like learning how to play the electric guitar so that I can become even more like her and maybe even perform her songs... ^^
